Ramen SANTOUKA ラーメン山頭火

Ramen SANTOUKA ラーメン山頭火

Ramen Craving anyone? This would definitely satisfy your need! This cosy ramen restaurant in Clark Quay central is no ordinary ramen you would find anywhere!

The place is rather small. You would definitely want to come earlier during lunch or dinner time to prevent long queues. There are also authentic Japanese whom would visit this stall frequently.

There are also many "samples" of the ramen made of plastic displayed outside the restaurant. It is rather exquisite and helps customer to visualize the dishes!(Did you know each of the plastic model cost $15 dollar!?)
The restaurant is located at a corner of the Central, facing the lake, thus it would be nice if are facing the lake while enjoying this scrumptious meal!

One value added service for this restaurant is that they provide you with one whole jug of plain water, thus you can refill it one your own without waiting for the waitress to come and refill it for you!

Dickson, Shoyu Ramen! 8/10

This shoyu ramen is no pushover! i doubt you can find it just anywhere in the city! The noodles are springy, accompanied by the warm shoyu soup whereby the soup is not too salty! The combination of the meat ( not too fat nor too lean ) with the soup and noodles is just perfect!
You have to try it to judge it! Seriously!
PRICE $13.50++

Jingkai, Shio Ramen 9/10

I just love this Ramen. The key to any good Ramen is the soup and the noodle. And they really nail the soup perfectly. It just so delicious. For those who don't know, Shio means salt in Japanese. So the Soup can be a little saltish but no worries, I'm sure that its just nice for you all. As for the Noodle, I will say not bad and is above average. There are spring onions, a piece of char siew, naruto (Japanese Fishcake) and some bamboo shoot. It's just delightful.
PRICE $13.50 ++

Mini bowl Char Siew rice 7/10

This mini bowl is great for sharing. If you wanna try the rice bowl, you can share it with your friends! This bowl of Char Siew rice is great! The combination of the meat, onion and sauce that is in the rice is great! Yummy!

PRICE $5++

Gyoza 7/10

Nothing very special about this dish but nothing to complain too! Just LOOK AT IT!! I know you want it! It's a dish that anyone would enjoy when there accompanied by a bowl of ramen.

PRICE $6++

It is a great place for Ramen if you want to find somewhere cosy but comes with great taste!And let not forget the great view and some okay standard services. So far, is one of the best Ramen stall we can recommend! And if your best Ramen experience is Ajisen's Ramen? Please you got to try this! No kidding! And Happy FOODING people!
