Swee Choon Tim Sum

Swee Choon Tim - Sum !! So far this is the best tim sum place I can find for Supper! Swee Choon never fails to satisfy my supper cravings! It is located along jalan besar near city square. Do not worry about having difficulty finding the place as the surrondings are still light up and full of people at night.

Chicken Claw
This authentic Hong Kong steamed dim sum tasted not bad. The sauce is braised and the chicken claws tasted like it has been braised with it for a long time. The chicken claw texture is soft and springy.

 Char Siew Pau
This is the best Char Siew Pau i have eaten in Singapore. The bun is soft and sweet and the meat is not too fat. This is the best dish of the night. All dim sum fans should come and try!

 Pan Fried Pork Dumpling
The pan fried pork dumpling is also very good. The skin is crispy BUT a little too thick for me. The pork is well cooked and the sauce will squirt out when u bite it. Beware, do not wear light color clothes.

Fried Golden Tofu with Pork Floss
The fried tofu is very very soft. They fried it really well and its a good combination with the pork floss.

 Sichuan Oil Chilli Wanton
If you can eat spicy stuff, you should try this dish. I don't know how did they do it, but this dish is definitely for all those who can eat spicy. This is one of their signature dish as well!

 Fried Banana and Prawn Fritters
Banana and Prawn?? That was my first reaction. To my surprise, it tasted very good. Half of the fritters is banana and the other half of it is prawn. The banana is very nice and the prawns are fresh. Quite a surprise dish.

 Fried Rice
The fried rice tasted normal but the surprising stuff was that they provide us with black beans in chilli oil. That was the first time i tried black beans with fried rice.

 Beancurd Prawn Roll
This dish is great! The skin is crispy while the prawns are fresh, crispy and springy! All should order this too!

Mango Pomelo
After all the nice dim sum, you all should enjoy a bowl of mango pomelo. It's a great way to end the night. The mango is sweet and is a great combination with the pomelo. Nice!

If you and your Kakis are looking for something not too expensive for supper, this is the right place! Come and enjoy the dim sum that no other place can offer. I can't remember the price for each dish, but i spent around 20+ for all these dishes and drinks.
